Unlike rotary shavers, which use circular motion, each BRAUN shaver moves in straight lines. At Braun, we believe that this is the most intuitive and effective movement with fewer strokes and therefore with lower risk of skin irritation. While the BRAUN Series 3 and later come equipped with blades that glide smoothly over the skin, the BRAUN Series 5 and later also feature a flexible head for maximum contact with the contours of the face.
