The Regatta Malawi 2 is made of high quality 70D polyester, which is not only waterproof (water column 3 000 mm), but also breathable and windproof. The material also meets fire-resistant standards, which increases overall safety. Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking.
