The WD Red Pro 10TB hard disk ranks among the high load internal HDDs for 24/7 operation in data centres. The 3.5" format is made chiefly for data centres and desktop PCs. One of the key parameters is clearly the rotational speed (RPM). The 7200 RPM RPM provides better system response across the board. The overall data capacity of the HDD is 10000 GB. The drive uses a 256 MB memory cache. The data transfer between the Western Digital hard disk and the PC or other devices is facilitated via the SATA III interface.
