Controls
The keyboard features 25 velocity-sensitive slim keys. The control panel is complemented by two banks of eight pads that respond to both velocity and pressure and have colour RGB backlighting. Two capacitive touch sensors for pitch bend and modulation are used instead of traditional mechanical wheels. The built-in mini display with a clickable navigation knob makes it easy to navigate the menu and displays current parameter values.

Music Production
The Arturia MiniLab 3 controller makes it easy to work in the recording studio or on the go. The design has a low weight of 1.5kg and compact dimensions for easy transport in a backpack. Users can easily trigger drum loops or adjust synthesiser parameters without needing a computer mouse. The device is suitable for both beginners and experienced music producers.

Connectivity and Integration
Connection to a computer is handled by a USB-C interface, which also serves for power. The rear panel includes a standard five-pin MIDI DIN output for controlling external hardware synthesisers or modules. There is also an input for connecting a pedal to expand control during live performances. The controller supports MCU and HUI protocols for compatibility with DAW software and offers one preset DAW preset for automatic integration.

Software Suite
The package includes software suites for instant music creation. The Analog Lab Intro program contains over 500 sounds from the Analog Lab, V Collection and Pigments libraries. Also included is Ableton Live Lite software for recording tracks and the UVI Model D virtual piano with samples of a Steinway grand piano. The Melodics learning platform helps improve your keyboard and pad playing technique. The Loopcloud service provides two months of access to an extensive library of samples.

Durable and Sustainable Design
The design takes environmental protection and sustainability into account. The chassis contains more than 50% recycled plastic and the manufacturer supplies it in fully recyclable cardboard packaging. This approach reduces the overall carbon footprint while maintaining the mechanical durability of the entire body. The construction reliably withstands frequent transport and meets the demands of use on the go.

Creative Features
The controller includes built-in tools to facilitate composition and live performance. Users can use the integrated arpeggiator for quick creation of tonal structures. Chord mode is used to play complex chord progressions with the press of a single key. The Hold function sustains sounding notes without needing to constantly press keys, and the Octave up and down buttons along with the semitone transpose function expand the keyboard's tonal range.
