The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L IS USM is the powerful L-series professional lens for digital SLRs of the same brand. It has a triple floating system for detailed drawing at any focusing distance. The presence of the UD element in the lens ensures that the chromatic aberration will be eliminated and that will bring great colour, contrast and image quality.
With eight lamellas, the background blurs evenly and the subject shot is brought even further into the foreground. You can choose to focus automatically, then use a quiet and fast ultrasonic USM, but you can also focus manually or use autofocus acceleration blocking. You can travel with the lens, even in bad conditions, as it has a robust design including moisture and dust seals.
