Deuter Guide 44 + 6 black

The Deuter Guide 44+6 mountaineering backpack is designed for alpinists and demanding hikers who need a reliable partner for their expeditions. The basic volume of 44 litres can be expanded by an additional 6 litres. The backpack is made from polyester and polyamide, which makes it durable while maintaining a low weight. The cut is adapted for comfortable wear even with a climbing harness and helmet. To reduce the overall weight, you can easily remove the hip belt and the top lid. The backpack is designed for attaching climbing equipment, skis, and a snowboard.

Designed for Demanding Ascents

The Guide 44+6 backpack considers the specific needs of moving on rock and glaciers. Its cut is adapted for a harness and helmet, so it won't restrict your movement, even when climbing. Quick access to gear in the middle of the pack is provided by a J-shaped front zip entry, which means you don't have to unpack everything through the top opening. To lighten the load before a key ascent, you can easily remove the hip belt and the entire top lid. The side compression straps not only compress the contents but are also long enough to securely attach a foam sleeping mat to the outside of the backpack.
