This Deuter product has been manufactured without the use of perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health. PFAS is used, among other things, as a rain protection coating because of its water, dirt and grease repellent properties. Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency), which is harmless to health.
