The DEWALT XR charger and spare battery are used to power cordless tools. The set includes two 5Ah, 18V lithium-ion batteries that supply power for work on the construction site. The power kit provides stable power to compatible tools such as drills, grinders, electric screwdrivers, hammer drills or electric multi-tools. One universal DCB1104 multi-voltage charger is also included.

Performance with XR 18V batteries
The two included batteries operate at 18V and offer a capacity of 5Ah. This capacity corresponds to a total energy of 90Wh per cell. The lithium-ion technology prevents unwanted self-discharge of the battery and does not suffer from a memory effect during irregular charging. The yellow and black batteries work with all DeWALT XR 18V cordless tools.
Universal charging
The DCB1104 multi-voltage charger allows you to charge different types of DeWALT batteries. The device is compatible with 12V and 18V XR batteries and XR FLEXVOLT batteries. This universal system makes it easy to use different batteries across your range of compatible tools. The charger automatically adjusts the output current according to the battery inserted.
Safety features
Integrated electronic protection protects the individual cells from damage during operation and charging. The system continuously monitors for deep battery discharge, overheating and overload under a heavy workload. The smart technology checks the internal voltage of the batteries and adjusts the parameters according to the current measured temperature of the cells. These safety features prevent critical damage to the batteries.
Status indication
The charging time for a drained battery is approximately 65 minutes when connected to the supplied charger. The integrated LED indicator on the charger body informs you of the charging status in real time and indicates the stages of the process. The user has an immediate overview of the recharging progress. The light signal indicates whether the process is complete.
Design
The compact size and low weight make it easy to transport the entire yellow and black set to the construction site or between different workshops. The charger has integrated holes for secure mounting on a vertical wall. The hanging system saves table space in any workshop. The charger draws power from a standard 220V mains supply via the power cable.
