The EATON UPS 5P 850iR 1U backup power features the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is the simplest form if the electricity is interrupted because it switches to the internal battery for electric power. The line interactive UPS also adds data line surge suppression to guard against dangerous surges travelling along data lines.
