The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 compact rechargeable headlamp features a practical dual reflector design, up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 125 meters. The reflectors produce well-focused light beams that shine far and near at the same time. The main spotlight shines with a cool white light of approx. 6500K (so called. daylight white) and the secondary one shines with warm white light with a tint of approx. 3000K (the cones cannot be combined, however). Warm light penetrates fog, rain and snow better, so you can use it especially in bad weather conditions. The main spotlight offers four lighting modes and a maximum luminous flux of up to 800 lumens, The second spotlight offers a maximum output of 500 lumens and you can also choose from four lighting modes. The headlamp also has a red light, a red SOS flash and a whistle integrated on the strap for emergency situations. Power is provided by a replaceable Li-ion battery with a capacity of 1900 mAh, which is charged via the USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. The battery can be removed and replaced with three AAA batteries in an emergency (they cannot be charged in the headlamp).

The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp features a Sport Fit System strap with one wheel for easy length adjustment. You can quickly and comfortably tighten the headband on your head with one hand. The strap is also perforated and equipped with reflective elements that ensure good passive visibility. Thanks to its lighter weight and construction, the headlamp is particularly interesting for trail running, cycling and skiing. It is also suitable for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, fishing...). Guaranteed to serve you well in any situation! The strap is assembled from the factory. To tighten the strap, turn the wheel counterclockwise. Turn the wheel clockwise to loosen the strap. A further turn of the wheel after the strap has been loosened as far as it will go will start to tighten the strap again, reversing the direction of loosening and tightening.
Using the Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp
Switching on the Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp is very easy. The white main beam headlight is switched on by holding the right button (approx. 0.5s), the warm white headlight is switched on by holding the left button (0.5s). The headlights cannot be switched on at the same time, but can be easily switched between them by pressing the button of the opposite headlight. The off headlamp is switched to red light by double quick press of any button. Light modes are switched by briefly pressing the illuminated reflector button. The light is switched off again by holding the corresponding button for 0.5 s. To lock, slide the lock switch down in line with the mark, the headlamp will flash 4 times in low warm white light mode to indicate locking. If the Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp has been switched on, it will automatically switch off when locked. To unlock, slide the lock switch up according to the mark, the lamp will flash 4 times in low warm white light mode to indicate unlocking.
Smart features of the Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp
The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp has memory and turns on in the last power mode set for the respective reflector. To change batteries, open the rear battery cover and insert the battery(s) in accordance with the polarity markings. Put the back cover back on. To charge the Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp, remove the dust cap and plug the USB-C charging cable into the headlamp's charging port. Replace the dust cap when charging is complete. Current charging time is 3 hours with a 5 V/1 A USB power supply for a fully discharged headlamp. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in the low mode of any reflector. Four indicators light up and flash gradually during the charging process. Four permanently on indicates that charging is complete.
LED indicator and intelligent temperature management of the Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp
After a short press of any button (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED battery indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs indicate that the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates that the battery is less than 20% charged. The indication only works with the original battery. Headlamp The Fenix HL18R-T V2.0 is equipped andintelligent overheating protection, which accumulates a large amount of heat when the headlamp is used on high power modes for long periods of time. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the power by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55 °C, the power output will gradually decrease again. If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. When the battery reaches its lowest power level, the battery indicator will flash to remind you to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner. Works only with the original battery.
