World of animals
In Planet Zoo 2 for PS5, the sequel to the popular zoo simulation, you build and manage unique zoos all over the world. For the first time in the series, birds and aquatic animals join popular species like lions and western chimpanzees.
Natural behaviour
Each species in Planet Zoo 2 for PS5 has its own needs and behaviours. You will see realistic animal interactions with their environment, natural movements, emotional expressions, herd dynamics, and animals grazing in the vegetation prepared in their enclosures.
Aquatic world
Planet Zoo 2 for PS5 expands your zoo with freshwater and marine aquariums that you design yourself. You will see colourful shoals of fish, blacktip reef sharks, hawksbill sea turtles, and other aquatic species in elaborate underwater environments.
BIRDS
Avian inhabitants
In Planet Zoo 2 for PS5, bird species get their own customisable aviaries with barriers, support pillars, and dynamic net structures. You will see toco toucans, secretarybirds, and other birds moving on the ground and flying above their environment.
RESERVES
Breeding and conservation
Planet Zoo 2 for PS5 includes global projects to protect endangered species. To meet specific conditions, you can release animals into vast nature reserves around the world and create their ecosystems to your liking. Reserves can be modified just like the zoos themselves.
CONSTRUCTION
Build to your imagination
When creating your zoo in Planet Zoo 2 for PS5, you can use more biomes, four new decoration collections with architecture from different parts of the world, and five collections from the original Planet Zoo. There are ready-made blueprints for quick building placement and tools for constructing individual parts. Modifications are made easier by scaling, flexible colouring, path creation, and new brushes for terrain and vegetation.
COMMUNITY
Zoo management
Planet Zoo 2 for PS5 combines enclosure construction with the daily running of the zoo. Happy visitors increase the zoo's rating and provide funds for further expansion. You can also create educational spaces, shops, and services. In Career mode, you join the FEN network to build a global network of zoos and nature reserves; Franchise mode lets you trade animals with other players; and Creation mode offers unlimited space for your own projects. You can discover community creations in the Frontier Workshop, where you can download blueprints and creations from other players across platforms and add your favourite items.
