Sticks with Hall-Effect technology
The controller uses magnetic sensors in the sticks to prevent unwanted movement, or drift. This contactless technology registers the position with high precision and shows very little mechanical wear. The magnetic sensors work without physical friction, extending the overall life of the sticks. This gives players consistent sensitivity when aiming and moving in the game environment.
Audio controls on the Turtle Beach Rematch Core gamepad
The body of the gamepad features physical audio controls. You can use the D-pad to change the volume balance between the game and voice chat. Adjust the master volume without interrupting your game or needing to open the system menu. The controller also includes a separate button for instantly muting a connected microphone.
Haptic feedback and vibration
Haptic feedback during gameplay is provided by two rumble motors located in the controller's grips. The vibration elements are complemented by integrated impulse triggers that react to specific events on the screen. Players feel impacts and weapon recoil right in their palms and fingertips. This system transfers physical sensations from the virtual game world directly into the user's hands, enhancing the overall responsiveness when controlling games.
Customisation via the app
Users can download the accompanying Control Hub Companion software, which is available for Xbox consoles and Windows PCs. The program is used to diagnose the controller's individual elements. The app also offers button mapping to suit specific user needs.
Ergonomics and shape of the controller
The controller's body is shaped for a firm hold during long periods of use. A special textured surface on the grips and triggers prevents fingers from slipping and helps maintain a stable grip. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue during long gaming sessions on PC and console. The lightweight 280g construction prevents excessive strain on the user's wrists.
Official licence for the Turtle Beach Rematch Core gamepad
The device is officially licenced for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PCs running Windows 10 or Windows 11. This certification indicates compatibility with all games on these platforms. It connects via a 2.5m detachable USB-C cable. The wired data transfer eliminates signal lag, and operation is completely free of integrated or replaceable batteries.
