The smart and versatile Garmin Fenix 5X Plus sports watch combines smart, sporty, outdoor and navigation features. The watch measures and carefully evaluates a wide range of sports, such as running, cycling, skiing, swimming, triathlon, golf and more. The display shows detailed colour maps which allows you to plan a route based on a specific activity. Garmin Pay, the contactless payment solution lets you make convenient payments with your watch, so you can leave your cash and cards at home. The built-in MP3 player plays music via wireless Bluetooth headphones. The novelty feature of this watch is that it has a sensor which uses light beams to gauge the absorption of haemoglobin in your bloodstream, so you can assess how well your body's oxygen levels are adjusting to the thinner air at higher Alpine altitudes. In addition, it offers incredible stamina for up to 20 days per charge in smart watch mode or up to 33 hours with full GPS enabled.

These watches look good not only when doing sport or outdoor activities, but also during the day, at work or even at social events. The watch comes standard with a sports silicone strap that can be quickly and easily replaced with a stylish leather or metal strap using a special grip mechanism.
Monitoring of Daily Activities
Thanks to several integrated sensors, you can track your heart rate, the number of steps you took, the distance you travelled, the calories you burned, and monitor the quality of your sleep. Other external sensors can be wirelessly connected to the watch, e.g. heart rate sensing with chest belts, measuring of running dynamics, speed-sensing, cadence and power for cyclists, temperature sensors, etc.
Individual Sports Profiles
The watch offers predefined profiles for many sports activities such as running, cycling, swimming, skiing, walking, hiking, golf, rowing and many more. Each profile has its features and individual settings. When swimming in the pool, the watch recognizes the swimming method and when skiing, it automatically pauses the stopwatch while you are riding in a cable car.
Group Track
Thanks to the clever Group Track feature, you will be able to track the position of all members of your group in real time which will give you a clear overview of their current location. This ensures that no member is lost during an expedition or race, and the trip will take place without any complications. You can also control Garmin Action Cameras or recharge them during your activity by using your watch.

The watch is dominated by the highly-readable and at the same time economical 1.2" high-resolution chrome display. Power is provided by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery lasting 20 days in smart watch mode, and up to 33 hours with full GPS enabled or up to 70 hours in UltraTec mode. Every Fenix 5 Plus Series watch features multinetwork (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) satellite reception to track in more challenging environments (such as forests) than GPS alone. It also has a tilt-compensated 3-axis electromagnetic compass, a thermometer and a barometric altimeter with automatic GPS calibration.

The Garmin Connect training diary is a powerful tool that you get with your watch. Garmin Connect can be used as a mobile or web app. Garmin Connect can back up, evaluate and share data that your watch measures during the day or during sports activities. Do you want to find out your resting pulse rate, VO2Max performance, weight, how much you use sports equipment, or share your favourite routes and places with friends? It's easy with Garmin Connect.
Contactless Garmin Pay payments
To help keep pace with your active lifestyle, the Fenix 5X Plus features our Garmin Pay ready contactless payment solution. Use it to pay for purchases so you can breeze through checkout lines while leaving your cash and cards at home. It works just about anywhere there's a scanner for contactless payments. The Garmin Pay service must be supported by your bank and since autumn 2018 they are available for selected VISA and MasterCard cards in selected banks in the Czech Republic.
Easy Connectivity
You can easily connect your watch with your computer via a USB connector or wirelessly via WiFi. The watch communicates with your mobile device via a Bluetooth wireless interface. The watch can also be connected to other Garmin devices, such as Varia cycling radars, VIRB action cameras, or inReach mini, which you can conveniently control remotely.
