The Gigaset A170 is a basic and reliable cordless telephone. Its user-friendly buttons with a sensitive pressure point make dialling comfortable. The large, illuminated, graphic dot-matrix display makes reading easy. It shows the date, call duration, and caller ID directly on the display. You can also use the alarm function. Thanks to pre-registration of the handset to the base station, setup is a simple Plug & Play process, allowing you to use it straight out of the box. The phone can handle up to 18 hours of talk time or up to 200 hours of standby time without charging. Radiation-free Eco Mode Plus makes it an environmentally friendly choice for home telephony.

Convenient storage of contacts and calls
The Gigaset A170 stores the last 25 missed and received calls in its call list. A separate list also stores the last 10 numbers dialled for quick redialling. Important numbers are always at your fingertips thanks to the integrated phonebook for up to 50 contacts.
ECO DECT for radiation-free telephony
The Gigaset A170 cordless telephone is equipped with environmentally friendly ECO DECT technology, which means the phone is radiation-free in standby mode, even if you are using multiple handsets. During a call, the transmitting power automatically adjusts to the distance between the base station and the handset. The shorter the distance to the base station, the lower the radiation. For maximum DECT range, the ECO DECT mode can be deactivated at any time.
