nJoy Horus Plus 1000

nJoy Horus Plus 1000
The nJoy Horus Plus 1000 backup power supply operates as a line-interactive UPS, providing an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 600W to supply sensitive electronics. During a power outage, it switches to battery power with a simulated sine wave output in a typical time of 2 to 6 milliseconds. It accepts a wide input voltage range of 170–280VAC, which reduces the need to switch to battery. Integrated automatic voltage regulation with Boost and Buck functions corrects fluctuations in the mains supply, thus saving battery power. The clear LCD display on the front panel provides continuous information on key operational states, including input and output voltage.
Key features of the nJoy Horus Plus 1000 backup power supply
- Line-interactive topology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR)
- Clear LCD display for an instant overview of the device status
- Integrated RJ-45/RJ-11 ports to protect the data and telephone line
- Cold start function to start the device even without mains power
- ViewPower software for management and automatic system shutdown
- Simulated sine wave output in battery mode
- Includes four battery-backed Schuko output sockets
Topology and performance
This backup power supply uses line-interactive topology and switches to battery power within 2 to 6 milliseconds during an outage. It provides an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 600W. The automatic voltage regulation (AVR) with two boost stages and one buck stage stabilises the voltage without switching to the battery, thus saving its capacity. The backup time is 8 minutes at 50% load and 1 minute at 100% load.
Battery and comprehensive protection
The device contains two GP07122L lead-acid batteries, which recharge to 90% of their capacity in 4 to 6 hours. The charging process also runs when the unit is switched off (Off-mode charging). The device supports a cold start function for starting without mains power, letting you turn on the UPS and power appliances even during a complete outage. A set of protective features includes protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, and overload, while also protecting the batteries from deep discharge and overcharging.
Monitoring and connectivity
For management and monitoring, there is a USB communication port used in conjunction with the ViewPower software. The application provides information on the UPS and battery status, load level, and voltage. The clear LCD display shows operational data directly on the unit's front panel. Audible alarms alert you to a change of mode, low battery, overload, or a potential fault. A total of four Schuko sockets are available for connecting appliances, all of which are battery-backed and protected against surges. In addition to the power outputs, it protects the connected data or telephone line with its pass-through RJ-45/RJ-11 (IN/OUT) ports.
