The HPE Aruba Instant On WiFi Access Point functions as a high-performance access point, fully supporting the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard and operating as a dual-band device with a total transfer speed of up to 5374Mbps. This access point is designed for indoor use, where it creates a stable wireless network for your business infrastructure. The device effectively uses four internal non-detachable antennas with a gain of 4.55dBi for optimal signal distribution throughout the space, eliminating dead spots. Its compact design, measuring 4.5×20×20cm, allows for easy integration into any work environment.

This access point operates with 802.11n, 802.11ac and 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standards across two frequency bands. The wireless network divides traffic into a 2.4GHz band with speeds up to 574Mbps and a 5GHz band with speeds up to 4800Mbps. MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies coordinate data transfer to multiple devices simultaneously, which effectively reduces latency. Support for 160MHz client bandwidth on the 5GHz frequency increases the overall throughput of the wireless backhaul.
Network capacity
The device handles high-density traffic in modern offices and commercial spaces. The recommended number of active devices per access point is more than 100 connected users. The system uses 4 spatial streams for even, corner-to-corner coverage. The integrated Target Wake Time function extends the battery life of connected mobile phones and tablets by scheduling their communication intervals.
Business-grade security
The security of transmitted data is ensured by modern WPA2, WPA2-Enterprise and WPA3 encryption standards. The access point includes an integrated firewall to filter unwanted network traffic and protect the internal network. A DHCP Client List feature is available for administrators, which provides a clear overview of all currently connected clients. Security is complemented by the Instant On mobile app and web interface for centralised configuration management.
WiFi access point connectivity
Physical connection to the network infrastructure is provided by a single Ethernet port supporting speeds of up to 2.5G. It is powered using Power over Ethernet technology according to the 802.3af standard, or you can use the included 12V power adaptor. Active PoE simplifies mounting the device on a wall or ceiling without needing to install an electrical socket in close proximity to the access point.
