3D XPoint memories
Intel 3D XPoint is a hot new and represents the biggest breakthrough in memory chips. In the future, it will completely replace the existing NAND type that was introduced in 1989. The close cooperation between Intel and Micron Technology has finally brought the essential revolutionary progress. Their 3D XPoint memory technology combines performance, reliability and increased write density.
Shift into higher speed
The use of Intel Optane Memory guarantees you a tremendous increase in the speed of system boot as well as games and challenging programs. Acceleration is counted in tens of percent, which is a noticeable shift in comparison with a plain disk drive. It is a great shame though that Intel has introduced this technology in strict conditions. You need to use the latest Intel Kaby Lake processors and the Intel 200 Series motherboard at the same time. It's worth mentioning the need for the Windows 10 operating system as well.
