SmartMax Start - 23 pcs
SmartMax Start - 23 pcs
SmartMax building sets are specially designed for children as young as 1 year old and feature safe, sturdy, oversized building pieces that fit well in small children's hands and connect magnetically with a simple click. By playing with the kit, the youngest children develop their motor skills, motor coordination and patience in connecting the rods and balls and learn about magnetism and its principles in a playful way. Older boys and girls will have fun using the pieces to build a range of structures - buildings, towers, bridges and other 3D creations, and develop their creativity by creating increasingly complex structures with added game value. SmartMax Start is a basic set that can be easily combined with other SmartMax kits and further developed. The Start set includes 12 short and 3 long magnetic rods, 8 balls and a colourful set of instructions for building a range of models.

SmartMax quality and safety
SmartMax Magnetic Discovery sets have been made from high quality, safe and non-toxic materials. The SmartMax rods that contain magnets are sonically welded for added strength, dimensional stability and safety and the SmartMax metal balls are plastic coated and too large to swallow. The magnets are strong enough to hold up to 60 times their weight - so the kit allows you to build really creative models and the creations will hold up well.
A fun introduction to the STEM concept
SmartMax is a toy that gives kids a fun introduction to STEM concepts for young children. The concept of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics - science, technologies, engineering, mathematics) is an educational approach, which combines these four areas into a practical and playful learning experience. For young children - especially in preschool - STEM has enormous potential to develop their curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills. Children learn to explore and look for answers, develop their logical thinking and imagination, and prepare for their future lives. SmartMax Start helps children understand how things work. Children don't even realise they are learning - they are just playing and discovering the world.
