Key Recovery in Three Steps
Creating a PIN Code
Place the card on the back of your Ledger device and create a unique PIN code (secret phrase) with space for 24 words. Then, tap the card to transfer the encrypted data. The entire process is done offline, so there is no risk of information leakage.
Managing Backups
It's entirely up to you where you store your backup. This 'last resort' will protect against misuse or serve you if you lose your login credentials or Ledger device.
Quick Recovery
If your device is lost or stolen, simply use the Ledger Recovery Key on a new device. After entering your PIN code, all stored data will be immediately restored.
Ledger Live
By connecting Ledger Flex to your mobile phone, you gain access to the Ledger Live app, which enhances the management of your digital assets from a single place. It allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, track your portfolio, and earn staking rewards. The app is available for iOS and Android devices, as well as for laptops and computers on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
