The Levenhuk Rainbow 2L school microscope comes with everything you need for your first biological experiments. The microscope optics are made of special highly transparent optical glass. In addition, the optical surfaces are coated with multiple anti-reflective layers to increase light transmission and improve image quality. The Microscope is equipped with three objectives, so the microscope is able to offer a magnification range of 40-400×. The magnification can be changed very easily by simply turning the turret.

Study transparent and non-transparent preparations
One of the main advantages of this microscope is the ability to observe both transparent and opaque slides. For this purpose, the microscope is equipped with two illumination sources. The lower illumination body is used to observe transparent slides - for example, thin slices of plants and insects. The top illumination allows you to observe opaque objects such as small stones, coins, banknotes and many others. If you turn on both illuminators, you can even observe semi-transparent slides. The choice of interesting specimens to study is limited only by their size and the imagination of the observer.
Clever design of the Levenhuk microscope
The plastic body of this microscope is much lighter than a metal body - so you can easily and comfortably take it to school, for a walk or to visit friends. At the same time, the microscope is very durable, making it ideal for intensive use. The head has a 45° inclination to ensure greater viewing comfort. The lighting can be powered by mains or batteries.

The kit contains prepared microscope slides, all the necessary tools and a colour guide with all the necessary information about the construction of the microscope, recommendations for preparing new slides and descriptions of interesting experiments.
