The headrest can be adjusted to 7 positions, while the backrest tilt can be adjusted to 4 positions when mounted rearward and to a semi-reclining position when mounted rearward. The Lionelo Bastiaan i-size car seat has a reduction and lumbar insert that ensures an anatomically optimal position for the smallest children. The reducing insert is equipped with the Dri-Seat system, which takes care of the ideal air circulation and prevents the baby from sweating. When the reducer is removed, the seat offers a wide seat covered with EPE foam to ensure comfort.

The Lionelo Bastiaan i-size car seat is installed using the ISOFIX system and the Top Tether strap, which offers markings for optimal installation. If the car seat is fastened correctly, the indicator will change from red to green. The car seat can also be installed via ISOFIX and seat belts or belt only, which is useful for a child between 100-150 cm tall. Special seat belt mechanism integrated in the seat ensures that the seat belt can be tightened with one hand. The belts and buckle have special padding to prevent chafing of the child's skin.
