Image features
The optical section consists of a 1/2.9" CMOS sensor with a 2MP resolution, which produces clear shots in 1920×1080 pixels. The frame rate is 20 frames per second. The wide-angle lens with its 120° field of view covers a large area in front of the lens without needing to rotate. The resulting video footage maintains high sharpness, capturing essential details in the monitored space.
Night mode
Property protection continues even after dark, when the device activates night mode. Integrated IR LEDs provide illumination with an effective range of up to 10m. The device switches to night recording based on the intensity of the ambient light. The black and white image retains high contrast and legibility for easy object recognition at night. Users can adjust the night mode settings at any time directly in the mobile app's Night Mode section.
Motion detection and integrated siren
The built-in PIR sensor reacts to both motion and sound in the monitored sector. Users can individually set detection zones and time schedules in the mobile app. When activity is detected, a 1000 lumen light or a loud siren is triggered. The 110dB acoustic alarm serves to deter unwanted visitors.
IP camera with microphone and speaker
The device has a built-in sensitive microphone and speaker for audio transmission. This hardware enables two-way conversations with people at the entrance to the building. The user can communicate remotely directly through their mobile phone. Clear voice transmission makes it easy to give instructions to a courier or communicate with family.
Storage and construction
The camera saves captured video recordings locally to a microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 128GB or to a paid cloud service. The metal housing with an IP65 rating reliably withstands adverse weather conditions such as rain or dust. The wall mount included in the package makes it easy to install on the house facade. The device operates in a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, which is suitable for year-round outdoor use.
Connectivity and app
Wireless network connection is via Wi-Fi in the 2.4GHz band, in the frequency range of 2412 to 2472MHz. Pairing with a phone is made easy by displaying a QR code, which you simply hold 15 to 20cm in front of the lens. Users can watch a live video stream, play back saved recordings or change parameters from anywhere in the world. Management and setup are handled by the Nedis SmartLife mobile app for Android and iOS operating systems.
