You've probably already experienced a power supply interruption just before you wanted to save your work. Almost all your work has vanished, and you must start from scratch. Repeats of such tragedies can be forestalled by the nJoy Argus 2200 backup power supply. In principle, this hardware is just a large battery that provides power for all types of computers and devices that need electricity to function. The nJoy Argus 2200 UPS uses the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is classified as the most basic form when power fails because it switches power to the UPS unit itself. The line interactive UPS enhances the simpler off-line version of voltage regulation to prevent damage from electrical surges from the grid.

An important parameter is the backup time. This depends on the power consumption of the connected electronics – for example, at half-load (50%), the run time will be three times longer. The load of the backup source governs the operating time, which at full load (100%) is 2 min and at a load of 50%, it's 7,5 min. It is therefore essential to calculate the power consumption of the connected appliances and ideally to have some spare energy in reserve. The nJoy Argus 2200 shows the apparent power as 2200, but realistically, the actual power usage is 1320 W.
