The nJoy Keen 1500 USB backup power supply is a line-interactive UPS that delivers a real power output of 900W and an apparent power of 1500VA, effectively protecting home electronics and small office setups. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) actively corrects undervoltage and overvoltage within the 162V to 290V range without switching to battery power, thus extending battery life. At half load, it keeps connected devices running for 8 minutes, which is enough time to safely save your work and shut down the system. The USB communication port is used for status monitoring and configuration. With quiet operation under 40dB, it won't disturb your working environment.

Performance and voltage stabilisation

The power supply uses line-interactive topology with a real power output of 900W and an apparent power of 1500VA. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) smooths out mains fluctuations in the 162V to 290V range without switching to the battery. This saves the internal battery capacity for a complete power outage. The backup time at full load is 1 minute, and at half load, it is 8 minutes.

Battery and protection features

The power supply contains a pair of internal GP09122L batteries. The cold start function starts the UPS even without an incoming mains supply. The Auto-Charge and Off-Mode Charging features maintain battery readiness, recharging the batteries automatically even when the unit is switched off. It also includes surge protection and separate protection for the data network (RJ-45) and telephone line (RJ-11).

Connectivity and sockets

Four Schuko output sockets are provided for connecting appliances, all of which are fully battery-backed. It uses a standard plug to connect to the mains. You'll find a USB port on the rear panel for management and status monitoring. A pair of RJ-11/RJ-45 ports filter surges on the telephone line or data network, protecting your modem, router, or other network components.
