The Optoma UHZ66 projector projects an image in native 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution using DLP technology. With a high brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens, it provides a clear and legible picture even in rooms with ambient lighting. At the heart of this 4K projector is a DuraCore laser light source, which has a lifespan of up to 30000 hours of operation without needing maintenance or lamp replacement. This compact laser projector combines high performance with a low weight of 3kg. An integrated 15W speaker provides basic sound. The short throw distance offers installation flexibility, and the low input lag of 4.4ms meets the demands of gaming systems.

Image and colour reproduction
The DLP imaging chip works with a native resolution of 3840×2160 pixels at a 16:9 aspect ratio. The high 500,000:1 contrast ratio contributes to deep blacks and detailed drawing in dark scenes. It supports high dynamic range content (HDR10 and HLG). The projector creates an image with a screen size from 26" to 303", which covers a wide range of installation scenarios. The Rec.709 colour gamut reproduction corresponds to the international HDTV standard for cinematic images.
Light source and lifespan
The DuraCore laser light source has a lifespan of up to 30000 hours in ECO mode, which eliminates regular lamp replacement and reduces running costs. The projector's power consumption ranges from 126W to 185W. The cooling noise level in economy mode is around 30dB.
Projection and installation
The projector uses a short throw distance, which ranges from 1.3m to 9.4m. With a throw ratio of 1.4:1 to 2.24:1, it can create a large image even in smaller spaces. You can adjust the image using the 1.6× manual zoom and keystone correction in both horizontal and vertical directions within a range of ±30°. The projector also supports installation with 360° rotation and portrait projection, expanding its range of uses.
Connectivity
Two HDMI 2.0 ports are used to connect image sources. One of them supports the eARC function for transferring high-quality audio to an external audio system, such as a soundbar or AV receiver. A USB-A port with a 1.5A output powers connected devices, suitable for streaming adapters. RJ45 and RS232 ports are available for management and integration into control systems.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
