SilentGuard Kids Hearing Protectors. Reliable hearing protection. Prolonged exposure to any noise above 80 decibels (e.g. lawnmowers, large groups of people) can cause hearing damage. The louder the noise, the faster it results in hearing damage. Noise of 110 decibels (e.g. fireworks, car horns in the immediate vicinity) can lead to immediate hearing damage. Thanks to their insulation, these capsule hearing protectors have a single number rating (SNR) of 27, which provides reliable protection for sensitive children's ears. A sound insulation level of 27 SNR means that the protector reduces the sound intensity by 27 decibels on average before the sound reaches the eardrums. This allows most loud sounds to be reduced to a harmless level (below 80 decibels). The perfect cut that grows with your child thanks to the infinitely adjustable headband. This hearing protector includes an adjustable headband covered with a soft surface material. The headband can be smoothly adjusted to your child's head, so the hearing protector grows with your child. The inner surface of the headband is padded for very high wearing comfort. Wearing comfort thanks to lightweight ear pockets and elastic headband. The shape of the protector ensures a comfortable fit on small ears of children. The soft, skin-friendly ear padding ensures a comfortable feel for your baby's ears. The ear capsules are attached to the headband using the headset wires. These ensure even pressure distribution. The earmuff itself is made of a special, low-profile, sound-absorbing material for maximum wearing comfort.
