I have had the speaker for several years and with 75% of its use I have nothing to complain about. It offers better sound than the phone, so if I want to listen to something while I'm in another room away from the TV/laptop, it's great. And in the end, hopefully it will offer better and louder sound than the laptop. But one complaint that would make me not buy the SSS 81 again (and I'm afraid other portable speakers have a similar feature) - once the battery in the speaker drops to 25%, it starts beeping in that shrill, annoying way. During this, of course, the music pauses. And this happens every five to ten seconds, as if I didn't know that there was ONLY an hour of listening left. As a result - fine, but I believe that for this money you can get a better and less annoying speaker.
