The Sapphire Pure B850A ATX motherboard with WiFi 7 is the platform for powerful PC builds based on the AMD AM5 socket. With the AMD B850 chipset, it fully supports AMD Ryzen 7000 and 8000 series processors, and is ready for the future 9000 series. The AM5 ATX board uses four DDR5 memory slots, which accommodate up to 256GB of RAM (4× 64GB) in Dual Channel mode and support memory overclocking up to 8000MHz. For a graphics card, it offers a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, and for ultra-fast data storage, there is one M.2 slot with PCIe 5.0 support. Modern connectivity is provided by an integrated Wi-Fi 7 module with Bluetooth 5.4 and a fast 2.5Gbps LAN port.

Powerful power delivery and cooling

The processor is powered by a 12+2+1 phase power delivery system with 55A per phase, delivering stable energy through two 8-pin connectors. Heat dissipation from key components is managed by the Pure Cooling Armour system, which covers the power delivery stages, M.2 slots, and chipset. The setup is completed by five PWM fan headers that control the overall airflow within the case.

Memory and storage

The board offers four DDR5 slots for RAM with Dual-Channel mode support and a total capacity of up to 256GB. It supports overclocking memory modules to a frequency of up to 8000MHz. For data storage, it offers one M.2 slot with PCIe 5.0 support, complemented by two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots. There are also four SATA III ports available with support for RAID configuration.

Connectivity and expansion slots

The board integrates a wireless module with support for the Wi-Fi 7 standard and Bluetooth 5.4 technology for fast connections. Wired connectivity is provided by a 2.5Gbps LAN port. The main slot for the graphics card uses a PCIe 5.0 x16 interface. Additional cards can be installed in the PCIe 4.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x2 slots. Audio and diagnostics

Audio output is handled by a Realtek ALC897 chip with support for 7.1-channel sound. The Pure Sound Card Shielding technology protects the audio circuits from interference.
