Durable flysheet and groundsheet materials
The tent's flysheet is made of 190T PU polyester, which provides protection from morning dew and light rain. The PU groundsheet has a waterproof rating of 5000mm, reliably preventing moisture from penetrating from below when in contact with damp ground. The taped seams on the polyester flysheet increase the overall moisture resistance of the structure during your time outdoors and contribute to a longer lifespan for the entire tent with regular use on summer trips.
Pop-up pitching system
The pop-up construction uses a flexible 5.9mm diameter fibreglass frame. After being taken out of its bag, the tent unfolds almost instantly without the need for tedious assembly of individual poles, which saves a lot of time. Packing it down into a circular shape measuring 3 × 72 × 72cm takes little time and makes transport and storage easy. The circular bag is also equipped with a practical handle for comfortable carrying by hand.
Ventilation and insect protection
Integrated mesh openings for ventilation help maintain a comfortable climate inside the single bedroom. A practical insect net at the entrance protects the interior space from unwanted visitors. The mosquito net ensures constant airflow without the worry of pesky insects getting in during the night. Water column
This indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It specifies the amount of water the material can hold before it starts to leak. The higher the value in mm, the more resistant the tent is. Every tent should have a flysheet with a water column of at least 2000mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop travelling at 80–90 km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3000mm is a safer bet. For the groundsheet, a water column of 5000mm is recommended for general hiking.
