The STX Cruiser 10'4'' is a versatile inflatable paddleboard for sportier riding, which thanks to its width and shape is on the borderline between the Allround and Touring categories. It offers a balanced compromise between speed, stability and maneuverability in all conditions and is therefore designed for beginners and intermediates. This stable and, thanks to the sharp nose and low profile, fast enough, but still relatively easy to maneuver paddleboard can be used for sailing on smaller waves and calm surfaces of lakes, canals or rivers. The float is made with the latest FXL woven fabric technology made of two-layer laminated PVC, which gives it great rigidity while maintaining low weight. The STX Cruiser 10'4'' boasts a clean, minimalist and timeless design typical of the STX brand, and its quality craftsmanship and use of selected materials from the world's leading suppliers ensures a long service life.

Lightweight design of the STX paddleboard
Thanks to constant innovations and improvements, STX boards have an exceptional construction. Paddleboard is made with FXL (Fusion Double Layer X Light) woven drop stitch construction, which combines two pressed PVC layers, bonded without the use of glue, and lightweight woven fibres, that prevents to expand the material. The result is a very lightweight construction, which is characterized by a stiffness close to that of solid paddleboards. The float has double layered edges (Double Layer Rails) and critically stressed areas are reinforced for long life. The raised layer on the tail of the paddleboard (kickpad) makes it more maneuverable in turns. The base and centre of the float feature a moulded Honey Grip EVA foam grip layer with a hexagonal structure that is easy to wash and does not trap dirt. The Core Grip also features high-grip milled EVA foam in the standing area.
Quality paddleboard equipment
The STX Cruiser 10'4'' paddleboard with a displacement of 250 litres and a low weight of 7.95 kg is designed for riders up to 90 kg. It is equipped with a high quality high pressure valve that can withstand pressures up to 20 PSI (the manufacturer recommends inflating the floats to 15 PSI). On the bow of the float there is a flexible rope for attaching personal belongings and a practical D-ring for attaching the paddleboard. The paddleboard integrates a comfortable, ergonomic center grip handle wrapped in soft neoprene and has one center removable plastic flap on the bottom that is inserted into the Slide-In system. The paddleboard comes with a quality 3-piece adjustable paddle with plastic blade, STX double-acting pump equipped with a pressure gauge, a leash, a repair kit (patches + wrench) and a transport backpack.

Displacement
Displacement or volume determines how much cargo the paddleboard can carry. Shorter boards make up for their displacement in thickness and width, while narrow and thin long floats can have a lower displacement. A family paddleboard (load over 130 kg) requires a displacement of at least over 320 litres so that it does not sink and drag when paddling. To quickly calculate the minimum board displacement for your body, multiply 3 times your weight. The following table will give you an approximate indication of how much displacement your paddleboard should have.
