The Tesla SecureQ SC55 IP camera is an outdoor security device with Full HD 1920 × 1080px resolution, providing a 79° screen size field of view. The camera uses hybrid night vision with colour LED illumination up to 5m and an infrared mode with a range of up to 10m. Security features include local person detection with horizontal motion tracking and instant notifications sent to your mobile phone. The camera can be powered by a 12V adapter or via the 48V PoE standard, which integrates data and power transfer into a single ethernet cable.

Point the view exactly where you need it
You can rotate the camera horizontally through 240° in the TESLA Smart app, easily set the tilt manually during installation, and use the 2× digital zoom to get a closer look at a selected part of the image. You can continuously direct the view towards the front of the house, the entrance, or the garden to check the situation in different parts of the monitored area without having to change the camera's position.
Detailed Full HD image and optical parameters
The camera captures its surroundings in 1920 × 1080px resolution at a frame rate of 15 FPS, which ensures smooth video recording. A fixed lens with a 3.6mm focal length and F2.0 aperture lets in enough light to render the scene clearly. The video is compressed using the H.264 High Profile standard, which effectively reduces the data stream and storage capacity requirements. 3D DNR technology effectively eliminates image noise, while automatic white balance, gain control, and backlight compensation adapt the final shot to the current lighting conditions.
Hybrid night vision
The camera adapts to changes in lighting and offers flexible night modes to suit your current needs. An integrated pair of white LED reflectors maintains colour image reproduction up to 5m from the lens. Discreet monitoring in complete darkness is provided by infrared night vision with a range of up to 10m, which generates a black and white recording. The automatic night mode independently evaluates the ambient light level and switches between the colour and infrared spectrums for continuous scene legibility.
Intelligent person detection and motion tracking
Local algorithms analyse the image in real time and recognise the presence of a human body without needing to send data to remote servers. Upon detecting a person, the camera automatically pans the head on the horizontal axis, tracks the moving object, and highlights it with a frame directly in the shot. You can set specific detection zones and adjust sensor sensitivity to minimise unwanted alarms. Advanced motion and sound detection functions are complemented by the option of paid TESLA Video Cloud AI analysis for recognising vehicles or animals.
Two-way communication and alarm system
The camera integrates a sensitive microphone and speaker. The microphone and speaker setup lets you have a two-way conversation with people at the entrance to the property in real time. The integrated sound and light alarm enhances the overall security level of the monitored perimeter. When an incident is recorded, the system can trigger warning signals and immediately send a notification to your mobile phone.
TESLA Smart app
You can watch a live feed, play back saved recordings, rotate the camera, use two-way audio, or share access with other users. Supported automations connect the camera to your smart home. An optional microSD card with a capacity of up to 256GB enables continuous, event-based, or scheduled recording by day and time, with or without sound.
Flexible video storage options
Users have several methods for securely storing captured materials according to their own preferences. Local storage is represented by a MicroSD card slot supporting capacities from 8GB to 256GB, class C10. Recording can be set to continuous, event-based, or according to a predefined schedule. In addition to a memory card, you can also use cloud storage provided directly by the manufacturer for remote data backup.
Connectivity and app
Connectivity is provided by a dual-band Wi-Fi module operating on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, supplemented by an RJ-45 Ethernet cable interface. Remote management and parameter settings are handled by the TESLA Smart mobile app, which is compatible with Android and iOS operating systems. The system supports smart home integration via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. Compatibility with third-party recording devices is ensured by the ONVIF network protocol.
