The TomTom Tom smart transport assistant is an invaluable travel companion. It will warn you of fixed and mobile speed cameras* and danger zones (e.g. in France). Trajectory control is accompanied by audible and visual warnings.
Localization with up-to-date traffic information in real time
TomTom Tom gives you early warning of traffic jams, roadworks, accidents and parked vehicles. Unlike conventional sat navs, it also provides information about objects on the road, deteriorating conditions or drivers travelling in the opposite direction.

By collecting data from more than 600 million devices, the smart traffic assistant Tom knows literally everything before you even notice. TomTom Traffic saves precious seconds, which can sometimes be fatal. Avoid sudden stops, unexpected slowdowns or dangerous traffic jams.
Easy installation and coloured LED warning
Installing the Smart Transport Assistant is easy. Use the magnetic holder with adhesive tape to easily attach the device to the dashboard. When paired with the TomTom app, the Smart Traffic Assistant automatically switches on when you start the car. Individual notifications are clearly colour-coded:
- Blue light - speed cameras, trajectory control and danger zones (France)
- Red lights - traffic jams and sudden stops
- Yellow light - traffic hazard
- Orange light - speeding

Germany:Using devices with radar alerts is disabled - we recommend disabling this feature before you travel.
Spain: Alerts are only allowed for permanent radars, mobile radars are prohibited.
