Detailed Image with 2K Resolution
The 1/2.8” Progressive Scan CMOS Starlight sensor captures video in 2K 3MP resolution at 15 frames per second. The fixed lens with a 3.17mm focal length and F1.65 aperture provides a 125° screen size, 111° horizontal, and 56° vertical viewing angle. H.264 video compression effectively reduces bandwidth requirements and saves storage space. Advanced 3DNR and WDR technologies automatically correct exposure in overexposed areas for optimal scene rendering in any lighting condition.
Colour Night Vision with Spotlights
This TP-Link Tapo TC82 IP camera overcomes the limitations of standard black and white display in the dark. The combination of 850nm infrared illumination and two built-in LED spotlights creates a clear image even in complete darkness. The colour night vision works reliably up to a distance of 9.1 metres from the lens. The intensity of the integrated spotlights can also be easily adjusted directly in the user interface to suit the specific needs of the monitored area.
Smart Person Detection and Activity Zones
The integrated PIR sensor, with its 110° horizontal detection angle, accurately responds to heat sources in the vicinity. Advanced Motion Detection 2.0 algorithms minimise false alarms caused by falling leaves or small insects. Users can define custom activity zones for targeted monitoring of specific parts of their property. If an intrusion is detected, the system instantly sends a notification to your mobile phone and triggers the built-in 94dB siren, accompanied by a warning flash from the spotlights.
Two-Way Communication with Noise Cancellation
The integrated microphone and speaker allow for full real-time audio transmission. The two-way audio feature is enhanced with noise cancellation technology, which removes distracting background sounds. This makes it easy to talk to couriers or visitors at your door via your mobile phone. The sound system also serves as a loud alarm, for which you can set your own personalised sound to deter unwanted individuals.
Flexible Data Storage and High Durability
Recordings are saved locally on a microSD card up to 512GB or to the Tapo Care cloud service. The IP65-rated design protects internal components from rain, snow, and dust within an operating temperature range of -20°C to 45°C. It is powered by a rechargeable battery with up to 180 days of life, which can optionally be supplemented with a Tapo A201 solar panel for continuous operation without manual recharging.
Connection and App
Wireless network connection is via single-band 2.4GHz WiFi with support for IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards. Data transmission security is ensured by 128-bit AES encryption with SSL/TLS protocols and WPA/WPA2-PSK security. The device is managed through the Tapo app for iOS and Android, which offers localisation in Czech and Slovak languages. The camera is fully compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for easy live stream viewing.
