Ubiquiti AirMAX 90° Sector
Ubiquiti AirMAX 90° Sector
The Ubiquiti AirMAX 90° Sector WiFi antenna provides sectoral coverage in Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) wireless networks. The WiFi antenna operates in the 2.4GHz band and uses the 802.11n standard for data transmission. Its panel design offers high resistance to external elements, and its directional radiation with a 65° angle helps to precisely target the signal in the desired sector.
Key features of the Ubiquiti AirMAX 90° Sector WiFi antenna
- Panel construction with an IP65 rating against water and dust ingress
- Withstands wind loads of up to 200km/h
- 16dBi antenna gain to amplify the signal in the 2.4GHz band
- Directional radiation with a 65° angle for precise sector coverage
- Dual polarisation with a minimum of 28dB isolation between polar fields
Construction and durability
The outdoor design with IP65 protection shields the internal components from adverse weather and moisture. The entire device resists wind speeds of up to 200km/h, which contributes to the stability of its physical mounting on a mast. The robust construction maintains the set direction even in strong gusts of wind.
Signal and polarisation parameters
The WiFi antenna works with dual linear polarisation in the 2.3 to 2.7GHz frequency range. The antenna has a gain of 16 to 17dBi and the isolation between polar fields is a minimum of 28dB. The directional angle is 65° and the beamwidth in vertical polarisation is 90° at a 6dB drop.
