I always suffered from severe ear pain when the plane landed and for about 2-3 days after landing. After reading the reviews I decided to try this product and I do not regret it. Tested and work perfectly, no ear pain. Although the price is a little higher than I would have imagined, I have no problem with the team for a fully functional product.

I can't get enough. Flying was an ordeal for me because of the severe and stabbing pain in my ears, especially on landing. With these earbuds, the flight is painless and they still block out most of the sound from around me, but not so much that I can't hear if someone is talking directly to me.

I've always had problems with my ears sticking out on the plane, and earplugs solved that. Even on an 8h flight they were not felt in my ears at all.
Just don't expect high sound dampening - but it's good that you can put headphones over them and listen to music instead!

These are my second Alpine earbuds. I was extremely happy with the first regular ones, so I decided to try the airplane ones, thinking that even if they didn't work, I would have other good quality noise cancellation earbuds.
During takeoff and landing, I sometimes struggle with severe pain when balancing the pressure in my inner ear. I've done 9 flights with the earbuds and about 40 000 km in the air. Combined with the nasal spray, I more or less avoided the painful balancing of pressures.
I've only worn them during takeoff and landing, they are not needed during flight, although muting the engine noise is certainly not a bad thing. You can listen to music through them to a limited extent when you have earphones on. I can't say for sure how much the spray helped and how much the plugs helped, but I would say that they allowed me to equalize the pressure more gradually during faster ascents and descents.
I have fairly narrow ear canals and the earbuds don't pinch me. At the same time, I imagine that for a larger person with larger diameter ear canals, they might not fit as well. But it is definitely worth a try.

They only muffle sounds, they don't clog the ear canal completely - this avoids the uncomfortable tinnitus that is common with cheap foam and wax plugs

Application tube to insert the plug - the whole plug is made of soft silicone, so it doesn't press, even when you sleep on your side in them
