I have owned a Braun 7 for many years, the old version, and in terms of materials and workmanship, this amazing 9 PRO+ is not even close. My 7 has a beautiful black "piano" paint job, everything is 100% polish, the materials are solid and high quality to the first touch. The 9 PRO+ looks like a cheap bakelite fake from Ali, the head tilts with difficulty and resistance and the individual parts of the blade obviously grind when inserted. I guess it's okay, but for such an expensive "out of the box" machine, it's brutal. And those dodgy promotions, it's unavailable on Alza for the price of Black Friday every now and then, when I tried to get Cash Back I was told that the limits were exhausted. The only plus is that somehow at least he shaves, time will tell. I'm just hoping that if I find I can't live with it, Braun's 90 day money back promotion won't be the same hype as Cash Back.

As far as performance goes, the 9 PRO+ series has a lot to offer, I shave not only my well-groomed beard (neck and cheeks), but unfortunately my head as well, and compared to the 5 series (which is not bad at all, I've been using it for about 2.5 years), it handles not only beards, but also hair much faster, more accurately, more efficiently, better quality, and with minimal or no skin irritation. I'm just sorry that the machine does not have a better solution for "stripping" vibrations, with prolonged use your hands start to "tingle". What can I say, it's a really good machine in terms of functionality, Braun has done it well, it's just a pity that the price is so high not only for the machine but also for the accessories.
