The EdgeRouter X is a powerful desktop router from the brand new EdgeMAX product line by Ubiquiti. It has five Ethernet ports and an 880MHz dual-core processor. It is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses, to provide routing in your corporate network. The router guarantees a high throughput of up to 1 million packets per second and reaches 99.9% uptime, making it even more versatile than more expensive routers. In addition, it has a passive PoE function that allows practical power supply through a network cable.

Professional Specifications
At the heart of this router is an 880MHz dual-core processor with hardware packet acceleration, which is complemented by 256MB of memory. It is equipped with five Gigabit Ethernet ports to connect to the network and one port for administration. One of the router's biggest benefits is the price/performance ratio, which is much higher than the competition.
Wide Range of Configuration Options
The built-in EdgeOS operating system is a highly stable system with many useful features. It supports IPv6 protocol, static routing, OSPFv3, RIP, and BGP protocols. For security features, it offers ACL and Zone firewalls, NAT, OpenVPN, IPSec and PPTL L2TP protocols. DHCP, DNS forwarding, and Quality of Service (QoS) services are included as standard.
Easy Management
The Router offers an intuitive Advanced Graphical User Interface to control all of the features described above, as well as display current status information. Logging events and detailed traffic statistics is included. The interface is easily accessible through a web browser. Another way the router can be configured is via serial port and CLI, access, or via SSH.
