With the UniFi switch, building a fast network with PoE-powered devices is as easy as it gets. The switch is equipped with 8 gigabit ports and can be powered via PoE 802.3af/at or passively (48V) so that it can be placed in remote locations. With PoE power, one RJ-45 port is capable of delivering power to the end device. Switching power and packet transfer method simultaneously process traffic on all ports without loss of speed, so it has the prerequisites for a busy connection. This is suitable, for example, for remote access points (APs) or non-stop surveillance cameras.
