The EIZO EV2451 comes in an energy-saving range of EV-EcoView, and comes with a new attractive design in the form of an ultra-thin frame of only 1 mm thick. It is equipped with an IPS panel offering high-quality display, which is also equipped with a sophisticated matte anti-reflective mask with practically zero screen glow. The diagonal 23.8" Full HD resolution is always guaranteed by the readable text of the most widely used office applications, as well as a correct colour display, thanks to the colour range of the monitor that is compliant with the IEC61966-2.1 sRGB photographic standard.
The brightness of the LCD panels can be controlled, for example, by adjusting the brightness of their backlighting LED system. Often manufacturers choose simpler brightness control circuits to achieve the lowest price but result in brightness control only within a limited range (eg 30-100% of the brightness of the monitor's brightness) and, in addition, some users may set their brightness levels for a give the impression of a fast vibrating image.
The state-of-the-art EIZO automatic LED backlighting system not only reduces electricity consumption, but does not exceed 13 watts in normal operation, but also provides a completely stable and non-blinking setting for the desired brightness level.
The monitor uses a unique, optimized, nonlinear control to adjust the brightness of the monitor according to ambient lighting, which, compared to a simple and commonly used linear control, can better respond to light changes to better match the brightness of the monitor to the human eye. The control curves are even two - for winter and summer. The brightness of the monitor is therefore always in balance with the intensity of the ambient light, and the monitor thus affects the viewer's eyes very much like looking at the paper.
An interesting new feature is the automatic whiteness intensity limitation when reading/writing documents with a large share of white space. For colour reproduction purposes, of course, this feature can be turned off and perfectly simulated bright white photo papers.
In addition, each user can choose a "software" adjustable "image filter" to maximize visual fatigue with long-term text reading on a white background.
For a longer reading of electronic documents, the monitor has a preset "Paper" mode where the contrast ratio of the monitor drops to 1:100 and can perfectly simulate the usual electronic "reader" device.
A monitor enabled in "read" mode can also automatically reduce the blue component of the visible light of the backlighting LED system, thereby ensuring lower nighttime visual and artificial lighting fatigue, while also ensuring proper melatonin release during night hours (melatonin is a substance that is correct Human leakage prevents sleep disorders). The user can even set the time when the blue component of the visible light component of the backlight LED system starts to decrease automatically and the time when its level automatically starts to gradually change to its original level.
The 30% saving theme is also achieved by a unique technology of continuous histogram evaluation (brightness distribution) of the currently displayed scene. At the same time, the user appreciates the sound of the power supply, which is at the same time independent of the currently set brightness level of the monitor.
The colour range of the monitor is close to the IEC61966-2.1 sRGB standard, so immediately after unpacking, the monitor can accurately display standard sRGB colour photographs without having to calibrate the monitor in any way to produce an accurate colour profile. Viewing images within the sRGB range is accurate even in browsers without Colour Management Support (without CMS), such as in Internet browsers or other applications that were not originally intended for reproduction of colour photographs.
This is a great benefit especially for beginners or amateurs who may not always be fully aware of colour reproduction issues on modern wide-angle monitors. For even more accurate colour reproduction of sRGB photos, the sRGB button is used, which automatically adjusts the corresponding white point temperature automatically and automatically sets the gradient curve.
For seamless connection of modern computers, the monitor is equipped with four inputs - DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D and VGA for connection to older notebooks. With the integrated 2 × USB (3.0) hub, you can connect some basic peripherals directly to the monitor - flash drives, keyboard, mouse, and more.
And of course, there is support for both analogue (3.5 mm jack) and digital (DisplayPort) audio stereo channels and integrated 2 x 1 W speakers.
With the new stand, it is possible to easily manipulate the 24" panel at all times and for each user, with a height adjustment of 10-183 mm (up to 173 mm), 344° tilt, tilting up to + 35° / -5° and finally even rotate the panel by 90° - turning the panel to the "portrait" position (pivot function) to conveniently view "long" web pages. To help you get the most out of your monitor setting, use the "touch" button on the touch panel.
Easily manage and configure multiple monitors connected to a local PC that are connected to the enterprise network. The administrator does not have to move the workstations individually and set each monitor separately, but can set up multiple monitors at the same time and at the same time.
Each pixel of the LCD monitor is made up of three RGB sub pixels. EIZO guarantees zero tolerance of permanently lit or permanently illuminated pixels or sub-pixels in their monitors.
Thanks to the high quality of all the components used in the production of the monitor, the manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty for this model, including the LCD panel warranty and backlighting system.
