Detailed Gaming in 4K UHD
The OLED display of the LG UltraGear 32GX870B-B monitor offers a resolution of 3840 × 2160px, which renders fine structures, textures, and small elements of the gaming environment with high sharpness. 4K UHD provides significantly more detail than Full HD and contributes to a more impressive experience when playing graphically advanced titles and watching multimedia content.
4K AI Upscaling Enhances the Image
The built-in UltraGear evo processor uses 4K AI Upscaling technology, which intelligently processes the input image and increases its resolution towards 4K. Lower-resolution content thus gains sharper details and a finer image, without the upscaling process burdening the computer's graphics card.
4th Generation Tandem OLED with Peak Brightness up to 1,500 nits
The 4th generation Tandem OLED takes the brightness of the OLED panel to the next level, and the LG UltraGear 32GX870B-B monitor achieves a peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits. This makes bright light effects appear more pronounced, while the OLED technology maintains deep blacks and high contrast. The result is an impressive image with clearly discernible details in both bright and dark scenes.
Triple Perfect Visuals for Accurate Colours and Deep Blacks
Perfect Black technology delivers truly deep black reproduction and enhances image contrast. Perfect Colour and 100% Colour Fidelity support accurate colour display in various lighting conditions, while Perfect Reproduction preserves the correct colours, brightness, and details. This makes games and multimedia content look faithful and consistent.
VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and 99.5% DCI-P3
VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification helps to render striking light effects and fine details hidden in the shadows. At the same time, the typical 99.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space provides a wide range of colours and convincing colour reproduction, making game worlds look vibrant and detailed.
140 PPI for both gaming and work
The 140 PPI pixel density helps maintain high sharpness for small details. In games, text, menus, the HUD, and other user interface elements are clearly legible, while for work, you'll appreciate the sharp rendering of documents, websites, and source code.
A more comfortable picture for long gaming sessions
Eye-comfort technologies help reduce screen flicker and distracting glare. The 4th generation OLED tandem meets Flicker-Free, Discomfort Glare Free, and Eyesafe 3.0 certifications, contributing to a more pleasant viewing experience during longer gaming and work sessions.
Dual-Mode – 4K UHD at 240Hz or Full HD at 480Hz
The Dual-Mode function allows you to adapt the monitor to the specific type of game. In 4K UHD, you can enjoy a refresh rate of up to 240Hz for detailed RPGs, adventures, and other graphically demanding titles, while in Full HD, up to 480Hz is available for fast-paced FPS, racing games, and competitive play.
0.03ms GtG response time for quick reactions
The OLED panel achieves a response time of just 0.03ms GtG, which helps to reduce ghosting and maintain clearer outlines of fast-moving objects. This makes dynamic game scenes appear sharper and allows the monitor to react swiftly to rapid changes on screen.
G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Premium Pro for smooth gaming
NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies synchronise the monitor's refresh rate with the output of a compatible graphics card. This helps to reduce screen tearing, stuttering, and other distracting artifacts when the frame rate fluctuates.
Modern connectivity including USB-C with 90W power delivery
The LG UltraGear 32GX870B-B offers DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C port, so you can easily connect it to a powerful gaming PC, laptop, or console. The USB-C port transmits video and data while simultaneously powering the connected device with up to 90W. There are also two downstream USB 3.0 ports and a four-pole output for a headset and microphone.
AI Sound for more immersive game audio
AI Sound intelligently recognises and separates voices, sound effects, and ambient sounds, adjusting their delivery based on the game content. The virtual 7.1.2-channel sound helps maintain clear dialogue and important audio cues, while the two built-in speakers, each with 7W of power, provide audio without the need for external speakers.
AI Scene Optimisation automatically adjusts the picture
AI Scene Optimisation recognises the nature of the content being displayed and automatically adjusts key picture settings. For example, it optimises colour temperature, colour intensity, and sharpness according to Office, Animation, Movie, Game, or Sports modes, so the picture better matches what you're currently watching or playing.
OLED Care looks after the OLED panel
OLED Care features help protect the panel during long-term use and reduce the risk of temporary image retention and burn-in from static elements. Screen Saver automatically turns off the screen after a period of inactivity, and Image Cleaning helps to refresh the panel to maintain its optimal condition.

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB will be appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours.
Maximum Brightness
A value given in nits or cd/m² determines the brightness of the monitor. Brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250.
Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
