In addition to durable connectors tested for 8000 uses and constructed from hardened PVC, the AlzaPower Core Lightning MFi (C189) cable also features a reinforced section just behind the connectors. We paid extra special attention to this critical point, where competing cables often break, and designed a solution that gives this part an above-standard lifespan of up to 6000 bends.

A supremely flexible cable with a long lifespan
After rigorous testing, we chose high-quality PVC for the outer braiding of the AlzaPower Core Lightning MFi (C189) cable, with a lifespan of 10000 bends at an angle of up to 180°. This material also ensures the cable is flexible and durable. The conductors are made of premium tin-plated copper with a 22AWG (American Wire Gauge) specification.
