A heavy-duty trailer side latch set made from 3mm thick galvanised metal strips. It includes both the ratchet component and the catch plate (fixed component) which secures the rear or front tailgate. The sturdy handle with its shaped grip and locking latch prevents the side panel or tailgate from opening accidentally. When used on covered trailers with a tarpaulin, the handle can be secured with a safety pin, customs cable, or a small padlock to fully secure the cargo (not included with the product).
