The NANOTECH-EUROPE additive is an additive for motor oil intended for passenger cars with both petrol and diesel engines. You can use it in both summer and winter. The functional component is fullerene-type tungsten particles, which form a nano-coating on the sliding surfaces of the engine. This significantly reduces friction and wear, which contributes to lower fuel consumption and more efficient engine operation.

How it Works Based on Nanotechnology

The basis of the additive is tungsten particles in the form of fullerenes, the discovery of which was awarded a Nobel Prize. These spherical particles consist of several dozen layers. During engine operation, under pressure and shear, the individual layers separate and form a tungsten nano-coating on the sliding surfaces. This protective layer significantly increases the surfaces' resistance to wear while also reducing friction between moving parts.

Lower Consumption and Higher Engine Performance

By reducing passive resistances in the engine, its efficiency is increased, which manifests not only in higher performance but also in lower fuel consumption, which, according to customer experience, decreases by 5–15%. The particles also smooth out worn surfaces, which can help engines with higher mileage and increased oil consumption.

Protection During Cold Starts and for the Turbo

Every start of an engine that is not warmed up to operating temperature puts a strain on its components. The tungsten particles create a permanent lubricating layer on the surface that minimises friction and wear from the very first moments after starting. This protection is also crucial for turbochargers, which are sensitive to insufficient lubrication at low oil pressure – for example, immediately after starting or when the engine is switched off after dynamic driving without a cool-down period.
