Cast iron properties and correct maintenance
Solid cast iron construction maintains a high and stable temperature. This means the wok does not cool down quickly even after you add cold ingredients. Before first use, you must season it with oil to create a natural non-stick layer on the interior surface, which continues to improve with use. To preserve the cast iron, this pan is not dishwasher-safe. When cooking on a ceramic hob, we recommend using an induction hob protector to prevent scratching the surface.
