Cobra Tector CT-1079 Metal Detector Pinpointer

The Cobra Tector CT-1079 pinpointer serves to precisely locate metal objects such as coins or jewellery. Thanks to 360° probing and automatic tuning, working with the detector is fast. The device has IPX8 water resistance, which means it can be used in the field, from soil and sand to mud and water. It notifies you of a find using sound, vibration, or a combination of both. The rubberised handle ensures a firm grip.

Durability for any terrain

The detector is designed for demanding conditions. Its construction meets the IPX8 rating, so you can use it in soil, on lawns, in sand, mud and under water. Functionality in various climatic conditions is ensured by its operating temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The rubberised handle provides a firm grip.

Controls and signals

Operating the pinpointer is simple thanks to automatic tuning. You can choose one of three alarm modes (sound, vibration, sound + vibration). The memory function saves the last used setting, so you don't have to reconfigure anything the next time you turn it on. The integrated LED torch is useful for searching at dusk or in the dark, and a light indicator informs you when the battery needs changing.

The device is powered by a single 9V battery, which is not included in the package.
