Contec CMS50D
The Contec CMS50D finger pulse oximeter is designed for adults and is used to measure blood oxygen saturation in the range of 70-100% and heart rate from 30 to 245 bpm. The oximeter displays SpO₂ and pulse rate values using a bar graph and heart rate waveform. There is a function of automatic screen rotation according to the position of the finger and automatic shutdown within five seconds after removing it from the finger. The measured values are displayed on a colour LED display with adjustable brightness. The Contec CMS50D stands out for its compact dimensions and low weight. Control is via a single button. The low voltage indicator warns of a drop in power and helps prevent device malfunction. Power is provided by two AAA batteries with a battery life of up to 20 hours.
