The legendary “GT Mode” is now “Campaign Mode”, returning to the roots of the Gran Turismo gameplay experience, where players start from the GT World Map. The name Gran Turismo comes from the grand tours that people in the 17th century took, travelling long routes across the continent. The campaign mode in GT7 will once again be a place where players embark on unique journeys across the Gran Turismo PS4 world and create their own individual experiences.
In addition to the return of GT Mode, Gran Turismo PS4 once again lets you buy, tune, race and sell cars in a solo campaign that rewards you with new cars and challenges. And if you enjoy competing against other players, hone your skills and compete in Sport mode.
With over 420 cars available from day one in Brand Central and the Used Car Dealership, Gran Turismo 7 PS4 captures the look and feel of classic cars and cutting-edge supercars in unparalleled detail. Each car handles differently and has a unique feel as you drive them on over 90 tracks in dynamic weather conditions, including classic tracks from GT history.
Explore all the features Gran Turismo 7 has to offer with new tools to help you improve your driving skills. Collect, tune, customise and race hundreds of cars to create your dream garage collection. Join the international community of Gran Turismo 7 drivers to share race strategies, tuning tips, livery designs and photos before you hit the track to compete against others.
Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
