D-c-fix self-adhesive film revives the look of your furniture. It's also suitable for window panes, storage boxes, binders, jars, tiles, doors, door frames and kitchen units. It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and lightfast, making it safe for use in children's rooms. It contains no heavy metals and the adhesive used is solvent-free. It's also resistant to abrasion. You can stick it on all smooth, dry, and clean surfaces, as well as absorbent ones. The D-c-fix film has an integrated self-adhesive layer, which makes it easy to apply. You can use scissors or a utility knife to cut it to the required size.

Application:
Clean and degrease the surface. Clean window panes with an alcohol-based cleaner and let them dry. Clean furniture and laminate with a damp cloth. First, measure everything carefully while it's dry, paying close attention to the direction of the pattern for wood-imitation films. You can cut the film with scissors, or for more precision, use a utility knife with a metal straight edge. When applying to larger areas, it's a good idea to wet the surface with a water sprayer. This does not apply to mirror, chalkboard, metal-imitation, or velour films. Water is ideal for window films and wood-imitation films. Peel off about 10 cm of the backing paper and place the adhesive side onto the surface. Slowly and gradually pull off the backing paper while smoothing the film with a squeegee or sponge. Push out any bubbles to the sides. If the film wrinkles or becomes crooked, carefully peel it back, stretch it to correct, and reapply. The film has a so-called “bonding timer”, which means you can only make corrections by peeling it off within a few minutes to tens of minutes. After a few hours, the adhesive will bond firmly and corrections will no longer be possible. When covering larger areas that require joining pieces, an overlap of 5–10mm is recommended. Let the film overhang at the edges and trim it at the very end. When applying to edges, bends or folds, you can use a hot air gun, which will soften the film and allow it to bend and stretch. You need to work carefully to avoid irreversible damage to the film. You can also use a squeegee for smoothing.
