D-c-fix self-adhesive film breathes new life into your furniture. It's also suitable for window panes, storage boxes, files, jars, tiles, doors, door frames and kitchen units. It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and lightfast, making it safe for use even in a child's room. It contains no heavy metals and the adhesive used is solvent-free. It is also abrasion-resistant. You can apply it to all smooth, dry, clean and even absorbent surfaces. The D-c-fix film has an integrated self-adhesive layer, which makes application easy. Use scissors or a craft knife to cut it to the desired size.

Application:
Clean and degrease the surface. Clean window panes with an alcohol-based cleaner and let them dry. Clean furniture and laminate with a damp cloth. First, measure everything carefully while dry; it is important to consider the direction of the pattern for films with a wood-imitation design. You can cut the film with scissors, but for more precision, use a craft knife with a metal straight edge. When applying to larger areas, it is advisable to moisten the surface with a water sprayer. This does not apply to mirror self-adhesive films, blackboard films, metallic-imitation wallpaper and velour wallpaper. Water is ideal for window films and wood-imitation films. Peel off about 10 cm of the backing paper and place the adhesive side onto the surface you are covering. Slowly and gradually pull off the backing paper while constantly smoothing the film with a squeegee or sponge. Push out any bubbles to the side. If the film wrinkles or becomes crooked, carefully peel it back, straighten it by pulling it taut, and reapply. The film has a so-called “adhesion timer,” meaning you can make corrections by peeling it off only within a few minutes to tens of minutes. After several hours, the adhesive will bond firmly and correction will no longer be possible. When covering larger areas that require joining, an overlap of 5–10 mm is recommended. Let the wallpaper overhang at the edges and trim it at the very end. When applying to edges, bends or folds, you can use a hot air gun, which will soften the wallpaper, allowing it to bend and stretch. You must work carefully to avoid irreversible damage to the film. You can also use a squeegee for smoothing.
