Basic set for Metabo 18V cordless tools includes two LiHDX (Li-ion)18V (8.0 Ah) batteries and the powerful ASC 290 fast charger, which uses "AIR COOLED" cooling technology. The charging process is controlled by the processor, which ensures maximum efficiency and gentle charging of the cells. The batteries also charge up to 8 times faster than the basic charger. You can continuously monitor the current battery charge status using the built-in indicator. Modern LiHDX (Li-ion) batteries with innovative "tabless" technology have the longest battery life in their class, making them suitable for demanding projects. The batteries and charger are stored in the practical stackable metaBOX 145 case, which is made of highly durable plastic.

Metabo Intelligent Battery Charging

The Metabo ASC 290 quick charger is included in the set and reliably charges battery cells of all voltage classes (12 - 36 V). The patented "AIR COOLED" battery cell cooling technology during the charging process significantly reduces charging time by up to 8 times compared to a basic charger. The fast charger has a very low standby power consumption and is equipped with a USB-C port (20 W) that allows fast and efficient charging of external devices. The ASC 290 charger is compatible with all CAS batteries.
